Our Extended Family

We are blessed to have a loving and supportive extended family. We live close to many family members on both sides. We enjoy visiting, talking on the phone, and having video calls with our family that live farther away. Megan has three siblings that each live within 20 minutes of our home. We often have family dinners with them, frequently babysit their young kids, and cheer them on at sporting events. We are the proudest aunt and tio on the sidelines for soccer, swim meets, and dance competitions. The rest of Megan’s family lives in Illinois. We visit them for holidays and special occasions. Megan’s mom and stepdad also come to Utah multiple times a year. Family dinners with Megan’s side of the family are always welcoming, loud (there are a lot of us), and entertaining. Luckily, both of Alex’s brothers live within an hour of our home. We love to cheer on our family at plays, concerts, soccer games, and baseball games. A few weekends a year, we spend some time in Northern Utah with his mom and stepdad, and Alex’s dad visits from Mexico at least once a year. Family dinners with Alex’s side of the family are always filled with yummy food, lively music, and much laughter.
