About Us

Time goes by so fast that it is hard to believe that we have been married for over 15 years! We
have a solid relationship where we can be our true, genuine selves. We were drawn to each other
for our genuineness and acceptance of the good, bad, and the ugly that comes with life. That is
difficult to find sometimes, but so worth the wait. We love to have fun! Regardless if it is a
holiday or a birthday, we try to find a way to laugh and enjoy the company of friends and family.
We were both involved in sports throughout school. Todd played basketball and baseball
throughout school, and even received a scholarship to play baseball in college. Amanda was on
the dance team in elementary school, a cheerleader in middle and high school and college, an
honor student, and enjoyed working in the library. Amanda graduated cum laude from college

and continues to enjoy reading and learning. Amanda has taught group fitness classes for 15
years and Todd thoroughly enjoys working out (it might be obvious when you see pictures).
Yes, health is a priority in our family. That seed was planted early by our parents. Needless to
say, between the two of us we hope to have a well-rounded child. We love all sports and
extracurricular activities. We will be actively involved in encouraging and motivating our child,
will be at every game or event, and be the biggest cheerleaders in the stands.
Amanda works for a federal banking regulatory agency and has had numerous developmental
opportunities within the agency and is currently a supervisor. Todd works for a manufacturing
facility as a team lead in the receiving department. Although we both have careers, we have
amazing benefits and flexibility. We will make our child our priority. Amanda’s parents have
committed to being actively involved with providing child care, when needed. We want our
child to have similar childhoods as ours, with memories of fun days learning, exploring, and
using your imagination. We want our child to be outside in the fresh air, getting dirty, and
having fun. We hope that the pictures that are included in our profile book shows you a glimpse
of not only the amazing family that we have, but the friends that we have chosen to be our
extended family. We try to live life to the fullest, enjoy every day (even then it doesn’t go as
we’d hoped), and be thankful for the blessings that we have received. We cannot wait to become
parents.
