We are honored and grateful that you would choose to get to know our family through our profile book. Our hope is that through these pages you will see a snapshot of all the love and joy within our family and our home. We are so excited to share this love and joy with our future child! We know that right now you are facing a difficult decision with incredible courage, love, and strength. We want you to feel supported and cared for during each step of this journey. We hope that in these pages you can see the unconditional love, care, and support we will have for this precious child. We are grateful for you, for looking at us as a family and for whatever decision you decide to make. You will be in our thoughts and prayers throughout this journey.
We had an instant connection from the start when we met in 2005. We married in 2012, got a dog, bought a house, got another dog and added a cat to the family. Bobby is a maintenance specialist at a medical company and is also a trainer. It’s a job that he enjoys, and it makes his leadership qualities shine through. Ginny works as a therapist to autistic children; a job she truly loves and knows she was meant to do. Over time we have learned how deep our love and connection is. We know how much we can count on each other through the ups and downs. We are happy in the life we share together and dream of sharing this happiness with a child.
Our house has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with a huge back yard for plenty of outdoor fun. We have a deck on the back and a fire pit perfect for hotdog and s’mores nights. There are several children in the neighborhood always looking to add more kids to their games and sleepovers. There are several playgrounds in our neighborhood. The town is small and friendly with lots of annual events to enjoy. We have small town concerts and festivals and so many family events. We are close to the hospitals, schools, parks and churches. There are several walking and hiking trails in our community and some lakes for summer fun. We are only a small drive away from places like the zoo, museums, theaters and malls. We have two dogs and a cat. Bella is a Pekingese and is 12 years old. Most of the time you can find her napping on the couch or her bed. She likes to think she is the boss and has no problem telling Samson or Church what she thinks. Samson is a Great Dane and is 3 years old. If he isn’t picking on Bella, then he is running Church out of the kitchen. He always has to have his big wet nose stuck in your business and pouts if you shut the door on him. Church is a grey cat that is only a year old and is as sweet and cuddly as he looks. Samson is his best friend and Bella’s tail is his favorite toy. He is mischievous and wants to be in the middle of everything.
Ginny has 4 sisters and 7 nieces and nephews. Bobby has a brother and 6 nieces and nephews. Our family is very important to who we are and what we want our future to be. We are incredibly thankful for the love and support our families give us. They are excited to start this journey with us and cannot wait to welcome our baby. We are fortunate to have Bobby’s family living close by. Ginny’s family is big, and lives spread out in four other states. This gives us plenty of opportunities to travel several times a year!
Love of family. Teamwork, because to be successful, our children must understand the value that others hold in their lives. We must teach them that fundamental to happiness and success are healthy, supportive and successful relationships. Self-care, self-love and respecting yourself. Seeing possibilities where others see problems. Motivation, time management, accepting responsibility, honesty and probably most of all, kindness.
We both love kids and have always dreamed of having a baby! Over the last few years, as we navigated infertility and loss, we felt the call to open our hearts and our family to adoption. We have had the honor of witnessing the adoption journeys of several friends. We truly feel that adoption is God’s plan for us and for our family. We are looking forward to sharing our love with a child and are so happy to be connecting with you on this journey.
We love the outdoors and frequently attend cookouts with our family and friends. We play golf and softball all summer long. One of our favorite activities is taking part in benefits and fundraisers. We have played numerous softball, football and golf tournaments for local charities. Since Ginny’s favorite hobby is to cook, they can always count on her to bring plenty of food. We also love to travel and cannot wait to make memories with our child!
