About Us

Hello, we are Brad and Torie! Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We want you to know that while we don't know what you're going through, we do know that the decision ahead of you is difficult, we support you and trust that the decision you make for you and your baby is the right one. We met as teenagers and casually dated for a couple of months, and then we traveled separate paths. As fate would have it, two years later, we randomly ran into each other, and the rest is history. During our two years apart, we never stopped thinking about each other. When we ran into each other again, we instantly reconnected and spent a lot of time together, going fishing, jet skiing, watching movies, and getting to know one another's families. On a Christmas morning in 2007, we headed up to Snowbird to snowboard. What Torie didn't know was that this was the day Brad had chosen to propose to her! He almost didn't get to do it because he ran out of gas on the way there! Our wedding came together easily as we agreed on a lot of the details. The wedding was wonderful! Our favorite part of getting married was going on our honeymoon to Disneyland. We rode space mountain as many times as we could and realized how well we traveled together. It was a great beginning to our journey together as a married couple. We have been married since 2008, we laugh, have fun, and sometimes drive each other crazy, but we always love each other for who we are. Our dream from day one was to be parents, and we knew adoption was our path since Torie had learned when she was sixteen that she wouldn't be able to have biological children. Brad had responded to this revelation from Torie by saying, "That's okay, we can adopt, my mom is adopted." Brad has always been the most supportive and positive partner, and when we adopted our son, Remi, in 2018, he was a constant source of comfort and optimism. Our goal has always been to build a stable life where we can provide for our family. We focused on our training and careers before becoming parents, which gave us the opportunity to grow together and build a strong foundation as a couple. We are excited to be growing our family again through adoption.
