About Us

Hi, we are Jaxon and Sadie. Welcome to our family! Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about us and our little world. We are so excited for the chance that we have to grow our family through adoption, and we can’t wait to meet you. We met while in high school, when Jaxon was a senior and Sadie a sophomore. Our paths crossed through having the same friend group, but we never got to know each other super well. When Jaxon returned from an LDS mission in 2016, we reconnected and right away our relationship took off. We spent every weekend together with our friend group and always found time for just the two of us as well. Later, in 2016, Sadie left to serve an LDS mission. We emailed and talked the whole time, and when Sadie got home Jaxon was there right away! He drove from Logan, Utah to St. George, Utah (about a 5-hour drive) to welcome her home. Our relationship picked up right where it left off and grew into love. We were engaged 6 months later and married 6 months after that. We welcome our amazing son, Hudson, into the world just a month after our first anniversary. Then, in late 2020 we decided it was time to grow our family, naively thinking it would be just as easy as before. Unfortunately, we experienced three pregnancy losses and lost four babies (one set of twins). Though the heartache we felt was indescribable, we were drawn to adoption even stronger than before. Ever since deciding on adoption we have felt so much peace and we know this was always a part of our family plan.
