Our Extended Family
Though we are a couple of hours away from each of our homes of origin, we frequently travel for family parties or dinners and welcome visitors regularly. We enjoy camping with our families and outdoor activities such as boating, fishing, hiking, and 4-wheeling. We celebrate every holiday and birthday to the fullest, and there is never a lull in social activities.
Jordan's family all live within the state, and two of Morgan's siblings live in different states, which is fun because we get to plan vacations to see each other! We work hard to be a part of our nieces' and nephew's lives on both sides of the family, regardless of the distance. We look forward to having our home filled with cousins who can create friendships and memories.
We have great friends near and far and consider these people our chosen family. We travel and camp with our friends, share in major life events, give and receive emotional support, and we hope to raise kids with friends who are currently in the same life stage. We are identified as uncle Jordan and auntie Morgan by kids with whom we share no relation and we wear those titles proudly.
If we become parents, many people hope to be active in our child's life. So many aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and surrogate relatives await to shower a child with experiences, praise, and love.
