Michael grew up the youngest of three children and was raised in southern Indiana. He enjoys
baking, performing onstage, and entertaining friends and family in the home. Kevin is the middle
child of three and grew up near Atlanta, GA. Kevin has a great sense of humor and loves
singing, playing all kinds of games, and cooking.
We fostered a wonderful little boy for about three and half years (most of his life at that point)
who has since been reunified with his birth father. It was one of the most enjoyable and
meaningful times of our lives. This helped confirm our desire to adopt and begin a family.
We currently have no pets, but hope to add some to the family in the future. We have a four-
bedroom home located in southern Indiana in a cul-de-sac. Our children will have plenty of safe
space to run and play inside and out. The neighborhood is quiet and off the main roads. There is
a community park nearby as well.
We have a very tight friend group which provides support and care for our family. These
individuals and families have been our support system since the start our relationship. We also
have recently added more wonderful people from our church family and community theatre
friends. We also have several adoption/foster family friends we stay in touch with and they are a
constant source of knowledge and guidance.
Safety, attachment, religion, fun, stability and nurturing are all very important to us.
We had always been interested in the idea and after raising our foster son for the first few years
of his life, we knew we really wanted children. We hope to soon be a forever family to a
beautiful child.
We enjoy road trips, vacations, theme parks, hiking, movie nights/game nights at home, and
reading. We also occasionally perform in local community theatre. We usually attend church on
a regular basis and are involved in groups helping with worship (choir, praise team, handbells,
etc.).
We promise to work to be a positive influence on the child with which we are blessed. We want
our children to understand the value of knowledge, education, hard work, and to be good
stewards of the gifts with which they are entrusted.
