I want you to know that I recognize and admire your courage and
strength and are grateful you’re taking the time to learn more about me
and my family. I am 30 years old, part of the LGBT community, single
I love taking care of my friends and family and am extremely loyal to
those I love and care for.
•I love animals.
•Chinese buffet is always a yes for me.
•I've worked in childcare for over 12 years
•I have one amazing little Nephew(He's 10)
•I'm a huge advocate for Childhood Cancer (I raise money every
Year for a site called St. Baldrick’s, it's to help fund childhood cancer
research and then I shave my head to stand in solidarity with those amazing
Kids)
•Playing Violin is a fun hobby and also very calming to me.
•My favorite tattoos I have are on my left arm (I got kids,
Teens and young adults who have or have had cancer to draw
Something and then I would go and get it tattood on me forever. (It
Is a way I like to raise awareness and also see their smiles)
•Family and friends are very important to me.
I have a different living style than most. We live out in the country
with a lot of land, quiet roads, and friendly neighbors.
We’ve got 3 dogs and 2 cats. My brother and I still live with my Mom.
(We help with groceries, bills, and any housework)
We’ve got family all over. Some in Nashville, Bowling Green, etc.
And then we have some amazing friends who are like family to us.
I value listening to your child, teaching them that it’s ok to
Show feelings. I want to raise my child as I was raised.
Respect our elders, treat people the way you would like
To be treated, and to just be kind and try and enjoy life
To the fullest.
I’ve been thinking of adoption for as long as I can remember but have
really been serious about it for the last 4-5 years. I have always wanted
children but since I’m single and a member of
The LGBT community, having a biological child just wasn't in the books.
Now it just feels like
the time is right and I know you are out there knowing the same thing.
Everyone in our house has jobs to go to, but on our days off we like
To go out shopping (Groceries or just shop) out to eat, sometimes we
Will go to concerts, and nice days we like spending out doors, either
Just on walks, the zoo, anything.
On a lazy day I personally like to play Violin, read, or just surf the web.
Culture and diversity are such important things to take into account.
I work in childcare so I have been around so many kids that all have
Different backgrounds of life. I have learned some Japanese, Spanish,
And sign language (Not fluent but still practicing)
•To love this baby to my fullest extent.
•Let him/her be his/her own person.
•Give him or her opportunities to travel (even if just a few hours away to an event)
•He or She will be surrounded by so many loving and caring people.
•If he or she are of a different racial background than me, I promise to embrace and
Celebrate his or her Culture.
•To always treat him or her with kindness and respect.
