About Us

We are Parker, Samara, and Raeya. Thank you for taking the time to read our story! We are excited for you to learn more about our family. Our story isn't full of knights, shining armor, princesses, or superheroes (we wish!). Our story is simple, but it's our story, so we think it is lovely. We met in 2015 at college during the summer. Our church had an activity night where we played ultimate frisbee. Parker started talking smack, and our friendship grew from there. We did everything together. We played volleyball, flag football, pickleball, went and watched the latest superhero movie, walked, and attended institute together. After several months of friendship and with a little persuasion by me, Parker asked me on a date. By the end of the week, we wanted to get married, and two months later, we were married. We both came from big families and wanted one of our own. In 2017 we had a little girl named Raeya. She has been a ball of energy and has added excitement to our lives, but to our dismay, we have been unable to have further children. Over the past two years, Raeya has been asking us, and praying daily for, a baby brother and/or a baby sister. Due to our desire to grow our family, we decided to enter on this journey of adoption. We are all really excited about welcoming another amazing child into our lives.
