About Us
Hi! We are Rick and Spur. We appreciate you taking the time to learn more about us and our story.
Our story began in March 2015 on the basketball court in a local gym. We were on the same team in a pick-up game, and found ourselves only passing the ball to each other from that day on. Our mutual love for basketball brought us together, but we soon realized that we connected in many other aspects of life. We quickly turned from teammates to best friends, and in September 2016 we were engaged. Not long after, we were married on top of a mountain in Park City, Utah in July 2017.
After spending the following years focused on our careers, dogs, and traveling, we feel ready to expand our family. Before marriage, we discussed our future plans to have a family and we both agreed that we wanted to adopt. It has always been in both of our hearts. We were inspired to adopt by several great people in our lives who, while growing up, treated us as their own. We hope to pass that same unconditional love and endless support on to a little one.
