A perspective our family holds strongly to is that we would rather accumulate experiences than
things. The way this plays out in our day to day life might look like not upgrading to the newest
car just yet so that when we want to hop in the car and go to another town for the weekend, we
can. This year as the boys have gotten older, we started camping at state parks. We also visited
children’s museums in four different states! We love seeking out new parks and playgrounds.
We saw Christmas lights in different cities and around our town every week this December. In
the summer we frequently use our pass to head to the zoo. Your child, if placed with our family,
will be given so many opportunities to experience what life has to offer them!
